Mint Tea This tea is always served very sweet.

Total time: 15 minutes
8 cups water
6 tbsp. green tea 1 cup fresh spearmint leaves 1 cup sugar, or to taste Bring the water to a boil in a samovar, turn off the heat and add the tea. Let this steep for 3 minutes. Put the mint and sugar into a teapot or carafe. Strain the tea into the pot and let it steep for 3 more minutes. Makes 8 servings. from Serving the Guest: A Sufi Cookbook |
